Facebook has moved to a NoSQL database named HBase. Google uses their own system called BigTable. What is NoSQL ? NoSQL is a term used to designate databases which differ from classic relational databases. NoSQL database management systems are useful when working with a huge quantity of data when the data's nature does not require a relational model. The data can be structured, but NoSQL is used when what really matters is the ability to store and retrieve great quantities of data, not the relationships between the elements.

HP Is Now No.1 In U.S and Global Desktop Workstation Market Share !

HP today (13 Aug 2012) announced that research firm, IDC, reported that,
for the first time, HP leads U.S. market share in the desktop workstation category, and was the global share leader during the second quarter of 2012 . A technology that has running shoes, race cars, and Oscar-winning all in common.





HP’s share showed significant growth during past quarters, culminating with a 47.6 percent share in desktop workstations in the United States. HP continues to lead the mobile workstation category worldwide with 41.8 percent share, and leads the combined workstation category with 46.2 percent share, according to the Q2’12 IDC Worldwide Workstation Tracker, Aug. 8, 2012.
